At Allum & Sidaway Bridal, we believe finding your wedding dress should be an experience as unforgettable as the day itself. Nestled in the heart of Salisbury Wiltshire, our boutique sits proudly on the first floor of Allum & Sidaway Jewellers, offering a beautiful, intimate space for brides-to-be.

We are proud official stockists of Sincerity Bridal, Stella York, and Dando London — three renowned designers known for their timeless elegance and contemporary romance. Our carefully curated collection features hand-picked styles from each, with the option to borrow additional gowns, ensuring you have access to a wide and inspiring selection. To give every bride the attention she deserves, we operate by appointment only.

This means you’ll have exclusive use of our boutique, with the entire space and our undivided care focused solely on you. Whether you arrive knowing exactly what you’re looking for or need a little guidance to discover ‘the one,’ our experienced team is here to support you every step of the way. At Allum & Sidaway Bridal, it’s more than a fitting — it’s a moment to relax, be inspired, and celebrate your story. We can’t wait to be part of yours.

Who are we?

We first opened our Bridal showroom in September 2019. Having run jewellery stores for 80 years, we consider it such a privilege to be a part of a couples big day. It's simply one of our favourite things to do, and the chance to expand into wedding dresses was just irresistible. At our heart is a passion for great customer service, and we hope to offer that to you when hunting out THE dress.Our Bridal Manager Katie will be with you every step of the way. She's about as excited about your big day as you are! Plus, the most important bit - she's a LOVELY person! Just meet her and I'm sure you will agree. She can't wait to show you our beautiful dress collections in a pressure-free environment.

Katie together with Clare made my entire wedding dress experience a complete dream. From the first day I walked in, the process was made to feel easy, relaxed and fun. It didn't take long for Katie to find a dress with the silhouette, weight, structure and length I wanted - not to mention the pockets!!! Clare transformed the dress with bespoke silk sleeves, creating a unique and timeless dress, that stunned everyone. I could not have wished for a more fabulous dress, or a more brilliant and diligent bridal team than the team at A&S - including Luke and the team of jewellers who are responsible for the stunning engagement ring and wedding bands we chose.

From the moment I walked in and met Katie for my first appointment I knew this would be the place I would purchase the dress I had always dreamt of! I had recently been to a few bridal shops but this one absolutely blew me away! The friendly staff downstairs welcoming me, to going upstairs and feeling like I was the most important bride ever! My experience at Alum & Sidaway couldn't have been better. From the very first visit, the bridal manager was so kind and did everything in her power to help me feel comfortable and at home, from warning me of sensory stimuli (as an autistic person), giving me time to change and reassuring me throughout. The dresses are fabulous, there is something for absolutely everyone - as someone who is really anxious and body-conscious, what might have been a really difficult experience was transformed into a really fun and happy event for both myself and my family. I had the most amazing experience at this bridal shop! I came in on crutches with a boot on due to a broken ankle, but that didn’t faze Katie one bit. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after, taking extra special care throughout the entire appointment. She has such a warm, calming presence and truly made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on. There was absolutely no pressure to buy or make a decision right away, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Katie really took the time to understand my style and vision, and her genuine excitement made it all so special. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide me through such a special moment!
